This year the students will compete in teams of two to become the Biggest Loser in Christ by dropping spiritual weight. Students will accomplish certain spiritual disciplines that will equal weight lost. For instance, bringing their Bibles to church will equals 1Ib. Attending Sunday School equals 3 Ibs. Bringing a friend to Church equals 5 Ibs. etc...At the end of each month, teams will “weigh-in” on stage to see who’s in the lead. The month of December will reveal who’s the winner of the
Biggest Loser in Christ.

During the evening service on the 8th, I will present a plan for our church to participate in
Upward Sports. Upward is a Christian sports league that churches direct and put on for the community. The league is open to everyone from kindergarten to 5th grade. This is a great way for our church to grow as we attract young families with sports. The season will run from June to July this year and will be held on the city Rec. fields. For more information visit upward.org.
Come 1/8/12 to see how you can be involved!
