ENGAGE the world with the Gospel
God desires our worship. Scripture is filled with examples of worship to Him. Corporate worship both glorifies God and encourages and strengthens the church. When God’s people worship together in spirit and truth, the Gospel is clearly communicated for all to see and hear. Worship at FBC Blakely is biblically centered and points others to Christ. Paul writes in Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” If you are interested in getting involved in the Worship and Music ministry, contact Jeremy Jordan, Worship Pastor at 229-723-3448.
Worship Choir

Come be a part of celebrating the joy of the Lord as we lead in worship through song. Rehearsals are full of preparation for worship services, praying for one another and giving glory to God with our voices. We enjoy a spirit of family as we share our diverse music tastes, our joys, our sorrows and our exaltation of Christ each week in worship and rehearsal.
The Worship Choir is open to all adults and those involved in the youth choir. There is no audition required
We prepare music well in advance, making it possible for those with less training to sing with confidence alongside those with more experience. Our choirs also present seasonal musicals and sings for special occasions. Workshops, guest clinicians, and other opportunities are offered as well.

The Worship Orchestra consists of musicians who desire to use their talents to accompany the worship of the people as we sing our praise to God. The Worship Orchestra is for any adult or youth that can play any instrument with some level of training.
Youth Choir

The Youth Choir is open to any youth grades 7th-12th who desires to use their God-given musical talents to bring glory to God. The choir prepares and sings specials throughout the school year, and they take part in leading worship with the Worship Choir. There are occasions in which the choir will travel to other churches to sing and lead in worship.
Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir is for any child in 1st-5th grade. When participating in the children’s choir, kids learn new songs, basic vocal production with ear training, rhythm by reading music notation, and basic music theory. The children’s choir also sings in the worship service throughout the school year and presents a musical each year.
Little Notes Choir

Directed by Mary Holloway and Jennifer McCormick
The Little Notes Choir is for any child ages 4-Kindergarten. This children’s choir is taught the basics of music including singing skills, instruments, and rhythm. Occasionally, they will present a learned song in the worship service and participate in musicals.
Handbell Choir

4:30-5:30 PM | Room#
Directed by Charla Allen, Ron Drew, and Jeremy Jordan
The Handbell Choir is open to 3rd grade-adults with no musical training necessary. Anyone can learn to play the handbells. The beautiful sounds the bells create lead others in worship. This choir presents learned music in both services and special events such as the Agape Feast.
